XP's "Go Terrain" app is finally available in the U.S. for Deus users

I've used the app a few times now. I do a lot of exploring in woods and fields so its nice to track where I've been and mark finds. Its certainly accurate enough for my use. I like the manual push so I can record only the finds I want to. As long as they keep the price minimal, I'll use it for 10 bucks a year.

My only complaint is I cannot figure out how to get it to login with FaceID on my iPhone. The user manual says it can do this but does not give instructions. Maybe I'll put some more effort into it one day or reach out to XP to see if they have any suggestions.

The accuracy of the app will depend on satellite availability. On the CTX it was accurate IN MY AREA in southern WI,USA to approx 5-7 feet. I could generally walk the icon onto a Findpoint and the target would be within the range of my swing in a circle. So the short story is…it’s only going to be “so accurate”, but certainly useful at that resolution.
In case of a nuclear war, the military takes back their GPS system and totally civilian use ceases to exist. But then I think we will have more to worry about the metal detecting in that situation.

Yeah. Then we could ditch the vlf detectors and or trade them or buy Geiger counters.

This might have been covered already, but does the Go Terrain app premium package show land ownership and property lines like OnX Hunt does? I see it has the cadastral maps, but I can't see any examples of it online.

Screenshots anyone?

Thanks.
