hi im looking to buy a backup detector. im on a budget of £750. seen 2 i really like. which one would you recommend the XP Deus 1. or. Rutus Versa. your knowledge and experience would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Bad recommendation. I’d recommend Rutus Versa because it’s a different perspective and looks like it’d be fun to play around with. So many choices today, and you can’t go wrong with any of them. Even some considered “entry level” are very powerful detectors.

thanks.. thats a confusing problem these days, a lot of good choice detectors. did think deus 1 a bit old now, but would the software be up to date against new detectors coming out now.

i'v been using Blisstool LTC64X Version 3 for 8 years. really powerful and deep. thought id get a waterproof detector with screen for a change as a back up.

That’s what I used yesterday. Took me a long time to realize how I needed to set it for my own personal use. Set for a good while. Now, it’s moved to the forefront.

they take a lot of getting used to... i struggled at first and its just practice and learning your mistakes.
but what a detector set right its a beast..!

You can't go wrong with the Legend for the money. That detector will find the smallest speck of metal. Waterproof, SMF, wireless headphones, software upgradeable, I've got 2 pro packs now, all of the coils. It works for me. If I wasn't so busy with life, I would be getting amazing permissions like some the members here and slam the old stuff. But I'm happy with an occasional indian head, buff and other stuff that people before us have lost.

Legend is good for the money.

XP deus is an excellent unit hands down.

I have a Rutus coming myself.

Equinox are good too

There are a lot of options in your price range
You should watch a few videos on the ones you are interested in to help narrow it down.
