According to the local news, eBay was fined $3M for a harassment campaign conducted by some of their employees (who are receiving jail time) that included sending live spiders and cockroaches to a Massachusetts family. They sent them some other nasty stuff, too.

I am seriously glad that I don't deal with them anymore.

I stopped using Feebay when they made it mandatory to input your routing #, account #, etc... fee's are outrageous as well. That is just wrong on many levels...

In reference to this event, the people getting the bugs were seriously complaining concerning some things that happened to them, and some of the lower level, now ex-employees of eBay took it upon themselves to harass the folks, so the complainers took them to court and got a judgement of $3 million against eBay. It was in the national news yesterday. Pretty stupid by the employees and upper management of the company fired them for their stupid actions. This is just a case of people getting too big for their britches.
