Weird ring stamp

Hi, anyone recognize this stamp in what appears to be a gold ring? The stone is a large lapis. One side looks like .05. or JS ? The other side just has what looks like a mistake.

Looks like plated costume jewelry. Take it to a jeweler for ID.

Looks like gold to me.. found a ring marked J.5 its a European mark...

Really tough to tell from the photos, I'd bring it to a jewelery shop. They will clear up any confusion. Nice find!
