I had some time off work so i went relic hunting. It was really nice getting out for a couple days. These are my finds from the weekend.

Congrats on another great hunt! What's the object in the first picture? Are the roughly-spherical ones musket balls? I thought perhaps they are what I've heard referred to as "Minié balls," but according to an article I just saw, it looks like those are actually the same as three ring bullets. ❓ (Please pardon my naïveté on the subject. It seems that if I want to learn, I may as well ask questions; and you seem like a good person to ask. :grin:)

The rond balls are for smooth bore muskets. The rough ones were chewed by animals. There are a few different minie balls pictured. Some Confederate some yankee.
