I cant find any buttons that dont fall apart. My buddy dug a nice eagle button Saturday. Hopefully some brass will start showing up. Thanks

Congrats on another great hunt! What's the object in the first picture? Are the roughly-spherical ones musket balls? I thought perhaps they are what I've heard referred to as "Minié balls," but according to an article I just saw, it looks like those are actually the same as three ring bullets.

The rond balls are for smooth bore muskets. The rough ones were chewed by animals. There are a few different minie balls pictured. Some Confederate some yankee.Congrats on another great hunt!
