There's this water well next to my son and I's spot that's pretty cool. What's the safest way of digging it out and seeing what treasures it may possess? We have been getting a lot of hits next to it. There are also a lot of glass shards most of them being melted next to it. It does go down at an angle if that means anything, I can't find any information online about why it was angled other than maybe a hard spot to dig. To the right you can see remnants of an old metal pipe that used to run into it as well.

Tntaylor56, my first thoughts is how dig is it currently? If it’s shallow, a long handle post hole digger. Safety is paramount when digging below 5’ without shoring or it’s been stepped back, otherwise you risk cave-in.
