Yesterday when I was out I notice a little looseness in the telescoping rod right at the latch. Eventually, the latch loosened completely. Taking a close look, saw that the latch pin had worked itself out just enough that the one side of the latch was loose. I opened the latch, and was able to re-set the pin and then it locked tight again. I just took the pictures below and as you can see, the pin has shifted just a bit again. I am going to have to really watch it closely. I am afraid that eventually the pin might become too loose to work. However, if it is just a straight pin (which I think it is), I should be able to easily replace it with one of my own. Anyone else experience this with the Vanquish or others that may have the same type of lock?
