Yup you can use any equinox coil with the Xterra Pro, another HUGE bonus IMO. I have yet to try the Xterra Pro stock coil on the Equinox, but I would imagine that should work as well....
Thanks for the reply aj. I use the 6in. most of the time and I did see it was compatible with the Exterra-Pro. However that 8x5 has my interest. Haven't seen any advertised yet so I was wondering if they are even out yet. Good luck. Mark

Thanks Jeff. Valley Hunter beat me to it. I did read the Xterra coils were not compatible with the Equinox. Would be nice if they were. Some interesting choices to be sure. Minelab answered my email and said the 8 in coils for the Vanquish and Xterra-Pro are in fact two different coils and not interchangeable. Still trying to find out if the 8 in. coil for the Xterra Pro is even available. Good luck. Mark
Good to know valley hunter, still a nice bonus that nox coils are compatible with the xterra, now I don't have to sink more money into accessories. Most companies would change adapters on purpose I'm sure

Jeff, got an email from Minelab today. It stated they expect to announce and release the extra coils very soon. I would say within weeks. I think that 8x5in 8kh might just prove productive. Mark
