Hi all,
Some of you know me from tnet, the OCMD, Seaside NJ or Venice beach Ca. or Md Freestate club. With an excal in hand I look like everyone else at the beach but if you saw a guy playing drums on a large set of plastic buckets in the past 20 yrs that was me. I'm the skinny white guy. I happened across a forum here and figured I'd give it a go. My heart is in water hunting and early colonial artifacts and coins. I take the occasional Civil War/ 1812 foray as well. Like almost everyone I wish I had more time and better sites but I am blessed with old dirt, I get after it pretty well and have found coins from 1550 on and the usual gold and silver jewelry. i don't have ay platinum and only one palladium piece so I guess I need to diversify lol. It'd be cool to meet someone of similar skill level and equipment ( kayak, hookah rig wet/ drysuit etc) to brave the waves with but we're all such secretive solitary creatures. Right now I'm diversifying and learning to hunt gold in the wild but have yet to see a speck in the pan. East coast may be tough.
