I was moving some of my finds from a display case to a bigger display case. When I was doing that I discovered a button that I thought was plane was a war of 1812 officers button. So after that discovery I started looking at everything in this case a little harder. I had found this brass coin looking thing. It’s about the size of a nickel. When I found it I thought it was a worn farthing. It was holed and smooth. After looking it over, it’s a little smaller than a farthing. I can see on one side a big W with 18 on one side and 2_ on the other. So I’m pretty sure it was a token now but can’t find any local tokens that match. The 1820s ties in with this site. I’ve found things here starting late 1700s to the 1840s. By chance has anyone seen a token that looks like this? Thanks for any help.
