Ahh yes Nash. I forgot that name. That car in the add is very cool indeed. One I drove was a pale yellow and white.Checked prices and they are fairly reasonable for a classic car: Auto Trader results

My smallest car ever was a 1964 Chevy Corvair. My best hot rods were a 1968 Plymouth Road Runner and then a 1969 Ford Mustang with a 428 engine in it.The smallest car I ever drove was a, I think Rambler Metropolitan. I do believe that the first Smart Car. Very tiny but was a fun ride. Kinda wish I had one now.
It must have been a very tight squeeze getting in and out of it.I got my first car out of Cracker Jack box !

Yea, but I bet it wasn't spray painted blue with silver racing stripes like my cool one was.My smallest car ever was a 1964 Chevy Corvair.

No it wasn't, it was the original light green color. It was an automatic and had the little shift lever on the dashboard. Wasn't cool but it was my first ever new car.Yea, but I bet it wasn't spray painted blue with silver racing stripes like my cool one was.
The 50's and 60's and the music of those decades were the GREATEST ! Can't say that about the junk they put out now.Good mercy the 50's & 60's were the years ,the best rock & roll music ever made .Now after 12 surgeries I am very depressed and older than dirt.

I loved sen-sen and blackjack gum.. I can still get the gum along with teaberry gum in a local shop... have you seen what they are charging for sen-sen these days for one tiny pack? They are out of their minds..
Blackjack gum: Ed Gein's favorite!
Reminds me of the VW van that I had for a short while back in the 1970's, it was somewhat roomy and fun to drive, but it tended to slow down some when going uphillI rode in one of those old "Beetles" back in the 1960's and from that moment vowed that I'd never buy one. I kept true to my word......

I think all of us old goats wish we had stashed away more. I'm 69 and have been collecting coins since I was 5, I was going through my coins a few days ago and came across a small container that sounded like it had coins in it, but I could not for the life of me figure out how to open the thing. I thought about shoving a small screwdriver in the opening and prying,(but what if there was silver?) I tried popping in a penny, but it would not fit, so I tried a dime, then I was able to pop it open.Similar story.....I'm 79 and back in the 50's 55, 56, my one brother Mike who was 5 yrs. older than me used to caddy at two different country clubs....well he and I were into westerns, cowboy movies etc....When we had 10 or 15 dollars in or pockets saved from money caddying, we would go up to The Camp Curtin bank on 6th and McClay sts. Hbg, Pa. and cash in for silver dollars.
Then we would imitate the cowboys slapping a dollar on the table like it was a bar and ask for a whiskey or beer.....
God do I wish I would have just stashed them away for a rainy day....I actually now only have one of them. What a time.

I do not think these were my coins, but something my grandmother gave to me.View attachment 577604View attachment 577605
