Let's see em! I've only found one and it came late last season from a late 1800's park. I had the pleasure of seeing one of the nicest I've ever seen dug right in front of me at the same park by bottlecapking. Hoping he posts his. Please keep your posts and pics sterling thimble related only! Thank you and happy hunting!
Had to add this one, although its 14K found by a close friend of mine.
Silver/gold found by my wife.

Glad to see you posted it here! I just noticed that yours has a floral design along the bottom... nice!Wow they are some very beautiful thimbles. This is my first silver one. I wished it wasn’t smashed. But I’m still glad I found it.
I agree, the thimble is still a nice find. But when it comes to the new rendition of Washington's profile on the pictured 2022 quarter, it's my humble opinion that the mint should have left well enough alone.Unfortunately I haven't yet been fortunate enough to find a sterling thimble.
Until then, I humbly submit this brass thimble I found at an 1800s-era farmhouse. It's not silver, but I still think it's cool... View attachment 504498
That one is rather pretty, and personalized, too! Was this found at a homesite? If so, is it possible to track down whether an "Annie" lived there in the past? It's always neat to learn more about our finds.Found in the PNW.
Kansas metal detecting is the best bar none! I found my silver thimble in NE Kansas at an old park. The day I found my Sterling Thimble I also found a couple nice rings...I miss Kansas metal detecting!
