Spanish silver

Pulled a bucket lister today never expected to find it on the beach, but here it is 1772 Spanish reale. It has some saltwater grit which is expected I don’t want to pick at it might consider having it made into a pendant later on. Was using the manticore with the 15” coil thanks for looking.🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️

Hard to find silver that old after beach storm erosion. In all my years, despite probably 200+ reales, only 3 or 4 of them ever came from the beach. Good job !

For sure something I never expected was beyond the black layer of sand into the red I’m assuming that’s what somewhat preserved the coin
