Haven’t posted much on here but I thought these finds were worthy of a post.
Tides weren’t supposed to be great but the wind direction still blew the tides way out. With so much sand exposed I had to get out even though there was frigid temps. Managed 3 gold 1 silver ring a 1845 matron large cent 2 cent piece and a merc and various other trinkets. Some pics after clean up didn’t go crazy on the cleaning the signet with the women on the sides was my favorite of them all.

That was a great beach hunt. Other detectorists who stayed home to keep warm missed out. Especially with that gold ring. You needed to bring her in your home to let her get warmed up. She is a keeper. No way I would sell that ring.

she’s already in the display case for the long run haha thank you

Excellent 2 days out! And a great clean up on the mans signet, if I had found it I would have sworn it was junk from the one picture...front shot... but she cleaned up beautiful and removed all doubt! Thanks for posting too, nice to see some old gold.

Thank you I try to take it easy with the cleanings don’t want to break old gold I know the lower kt stuff is brittle.

I tell ya....I like my gold, but that coin stamped 1845 would have blown me away. I have never found an old coin at the beach. I looked it up and was surprised how little it is worth for being so old. It's just so cool digging something that's been down there that long. Congrats on a great hunt.

It’s a great feeling for sure really need a good wash out for the old coins to appear. Definitely doesn’t happen that often for me, when it does it’s incredible like last year I found that 1772 Spanish 1 reale I posted a while back. Sometimes I’ll be chasing one signal and you don’t realize how deep down in the sand you are getting you uncover another target. These coins found in the salt would never get slabbed with a grade just a details grade due to the environmental damage but still awesome to find. Thank you!
