Silver Nugget

Beeped as silver. Silver in color. Solid like rock so not foil.
Any ideas?

Hmmm... don't know. What else was found around the area? Did it seem like a house may have burnt down? Is it magnetic?

Good point Carol. Just checked and it's not magnetic.
Now that I think about it tho (and with my luck) it could possibly just be melted aluminum.
It was found in my mothers yard (house built around 1905 but no idea what may have been there prior) along with these other items:

Probably lead. They used melted lead on roofs back then.

Yeah what's ironic about the religious medallion is my mother had said a few weeks ago I could detect her yard but I never got the chance. She was actually excited for me to do it.
She suddenly passed away last week due to a stroke so my sister and I went to spruce up the yard and do some house work on Sunday so I decided to detect a little.
The ironic part is that the religious medallion was the very first thing I found.

You think the button is from the CW?
That was my first thought but wasn't sure. It is very heavy.

Just wished I could have shared the joy of my finds with her

No, it's modern US Army... not modern like right now, but probly since WWII.
