Seated Half Dime From Indian Hill

Went back to old home site where I have been finding some IHPs. Found a couple Indians then worked my way down a ridge and dug a very shaky signal and a small round but bent object popped out. A little cleaning and I saw Lady Liberty sitting there. I haven't been able to figure out the date but I don't care. Ended up with 3 indians 1888, 1898 and a 1893 I think. Dream find for me. Find those old home sites and dig it all.

Great job finding that seated half dime! Going by some of the markings, I can tell you it was minted between 1838 and 1840. Nice find.

This site has me excited but unlike most of my sites its not close to the road and is on the very crest of a hill. Most of the good stuff has been just off the top so you are constantly on uneven ground or climbing and decending. It doesn't matter I'll keep going back till they plant it.

My brother was with me and he has been detecting for twenty tears but doesn't have a seated coin. You never know when one will pop out.
