Glad to help get the word out , i know not every one checks his post on Facebook or even uses Facebook . Did not see any new updates there today , hope we hear some good new on him soon. His daughter can always check this link and read him the messages wishing him a speedy recovery.

Happy Fourth of July everyone!!! This is Seana Grattan, Robert's daughter. I will be forever thankful for the men and women who bravely served our country to fight for our freedom! Most importantly my father who is a retired/disabled vet from our own US Air Force!! I love you so much dad!!
Unfortunately my dad has fallen ill and won't be able to dive or post for a while. I know he has a lot of followers that love his almost daily posts, so I just wanted to give you all a heads up about his silence. Please pray, send good ju-ju, vibes...whatever it is you believe in for his recovery. Thank you!!

Update on my Dad....
My dad has COVID. He was admitted to the hospital yesterday. I feel he will get the best care there and I have faith in his doctors and nurses. X-rays and CT scans came back ok. He is on ALOT of oxygen, and I pray his levels start going up. My little sister is still up there, but can't be with him at the hospital...which stinks. Keep the prayers coming! - Seana

Hopes and prayers for a complete recovery Robert, and as much as we know how much you love diving, after you get back home, please take your time before trying to dive again to make sure your health and strength is back where it needs to be before diving again.

thought of you yesterday when i was at the beach. watched a toddler reach into her dad's
bag of goodies and pull out an iphone.

it could have been lost very quickly if he hadn't spotted her!

Counting the days until he is back to his goofy self!! Today was a so-so day. He is still on the same amount of oxygen. Progress today is he ate some food. (He hasn't really eaten in over a week). Sorry there is not much more I can update on. My little sister flew home this morning and is going to pack up her car with her son and pup and head back to Michigan to wait for dad to be discharged. It is so disheartening that my dad can't have visitors while in the hospital. #covidsucks
