San Gabriel Valley newbie

Hey everyone! I'm new to the world of metal detecting. Originally got myself a cheap little one that ended up breaking fairly quickly. I now have a decent treasure hunter 3030 pro. I am mostly a coin collector but I like old relics and antiques and figured this would be a fun hobby for me. The only issue is that I really don't know anyone else that does this and would like friends to go treasure hunting with if possible. I live in the San Gabriel Valley area. And figure there are tons of items waiting to be discovered. Anyone interested?
