Question re airbags

Has any one researched or asked a dealership the status of airbags on new sales?

there is so much in the news about the recalls but what about the 2018 models....with a purchase of a new car would sure like to know?

Thanks for any info, next time in a store will ask but will take with a grain of salt

What good would it do to ask the dealer? More than likely they don't know. And if they do, will they tell you the truth?

They have excess to the info and by law they can't sell if recalls have not been addressed....but your right about trusting a car dealer no offense to the honest folks.

I know you can have fun with old airbags. Being a Plumber with lots of retired vans going to the junkyard, we used to take them out and put them in old toilets flipped upside down. Then run a wire to the airbag and hide behind a dumpster. Touch the wires to a dewalt battery and the toilet would disappear
