question about Simplex+

It appears there are two models of the Simplex+ that dealers have.

one at $254 without wireless headphones.
one at $339 with wireless headphones.

My question will the $254 model that does not have wireless headphones even pair up with wireless headphones from other vendors like Miccus SR-71's?

I don't have a Simplex, but glancing through the Simplex+ user manual that's available online from Nokta Makro's website isn't very clear at all about whether other wireless headset options are compatible. Not surprising, as they would like you to buy their branded headset.

However, I found this website from South Africa (Nokta Makro Simplex+ Wireless Headphone Compatibility) that claims that "you can connect with other compatible 2.4GHz headphones" and states that users have been able to successfully use the Garrett Z-lynk system and the Nokta Makro EZ Wander wireless module. The website claims they will post other compatible 2.4GHz headphones as they become aware of them, but the site hasn't been updated since October 19.
