From getting called out for snide remarks after posting another plug for Deus 2 on the beach forum, to retiring at 41, patting oneself on the back for posting a Social Security COLA/Medicare Part B video and posing a question/riddle that shows how smart you are........

Deflection at its finest or pivoting to avoid taking The Fifth.....

Yeah.
Everybthing I said in the post above has substance.
You took what I said the wrong way. Or labeled it wrong.
Guess what?
You know how many books I ever read front to back in my whole life?
One.
Charlotte’s Web when I was 8 years old. That’s it.
I didn’t like to read. Didn’t read my school books either.
The internet has changed that quite a bit.
And my iPad. Lot easier to navigate and lighter than home pc and laptop.

A negative connotation has to be placed on everything I say on this forum by someone.

Thanks for admitting to us the crux of all your life's issues. You've only read 1 book in your entire life. This is all crystal clear now.

I like seeing other hunters finds. When a post leads with what detector is used, it makes the posted info disingenuous. Is it about the finds or more about recognition that they were found with a particular machine? I'd watch a video to see the great finds. When the tilte or description is mostly about the detector, it shows its self as an obvious attempt to push a particular agenda, namely.... "this machine is the best. The purpose of this post is to show that this machine is superior"

The response is typically "I'm just posting a good hunt!"

If that's the case, why is the mention of Dues II so prominent?

I never mentioned Deus 2 in thread title. I never used the word best anywhere in this thread.
I did say looks like the youtuber is doing well.
That’s it.
And one would think he is liking his detector.
By his talk in the video when at the beach. Going on about having a 9 ring day.
A 9 junker ring day might be a good day for some too, I reckon.
At least your heart gets more to pumping some when you eye a ring in your basket.

Hunting with the Gigmaster

I’ve been detecting Civil War and colonial relics since 1985 or so. I went through some serious stages hunting beaches when there were a good number of gold rings to be found. Back in the day, I was using a Fisher 1280X Aquanaut that was belt mounted and all I had to so was swing the shaft and coil. I used a big aluminum scoop with a teardrop looped aluminum handle. Times and equipment has changed. Over the years I hunted with some of the best. Now, I hunt with Gigmaster at least a couple times a week. I’m no expert but I know a good hunter when I see one. The Gigmaster is 100% legit. I joke and say that Gig could dig a gold ring on an iceberg. I have personally witnessed him slay gold ring after gold ring. How does he do it many ask? Gigmaster takes time to learn his detector and experiments with his settings. He puts his theories into into practice out in the field and learns to tweak what is needed. He watches the people and their behaviors on the beach. Gigmaster and I have a good idea how to read beach erosion and sand build up to determine if the beach is viable or if its time to move on. Gigmaster is methodical and believes in gridding an area when it becomes promising. Gig hunts slow and listens. But what makes Gigmaster so good is that he encompasses all of these attributes into his hunts. Plus, Gigmaster’s excellent detecting techniques gets him over the targets which is the most important part of the hunt and is absolutely critical if you want gold. Gigmaster would never fake a find because he’s too honest. A better gentleman has never graced the earth. Gigmaster is kind, generous and gives back to so many deserving and undeserving. The laws of nature and Karma continuously bring Gig gold. I know that there are some top hunters on this forum and I would not take anything away from those who fall into that category. Gigmaster just happens to be up there as well and he’s one heck of a friend and that’s my gold. Did I ever want to choke Gigmaster, yes! Last week we hunted and Gig scored 9 rings with 2 being gold. I didn’t score one ring which might result in some counseling sessions for me, ha! I MAY have some new machine learning bumps but feel I’m working through them. Wishing everyone a successful hunt. John Boy

I, for one have never doubted anything you said in your post.

I really enjoy watching Gigmaster's videos. I can tell he is a great hunter and person. He reminds me a lot of one of my uncles too who died recently which is another reason I like to watch him and especially to listen to his techniques and advice.

I don't understand why anyone especially on this forum, would question his honesty and commitment to this hobby and to his trying to help others. Those comments were embarrassing and uncalled for. Sorry Gig got pulled into this situation.

Thanks for posting John Boy.

I enjoyed watching Gigs video.
I don't care which detector he's using.
It did look like he was in freshwater, no waves and it was green. Idk if it was salt or fresh but he had a great ring finding day.

Problem is there are other members here besides you. Even visitors who may eventually join this forum.
So I posted something for them to watch. If they choose.

Seems it is always the same few folks here who go off the deep end when some thing is posted about a certain model.

Btw.
Go look I posted videos where Equinox was used too in the past.

It is almost like some here are afraid of these videos here where Deus 2 is shown.

YES, that is EXACTLY the problem.

YOU, tnsharpshooter giving advice to people [visitors] who want to hunt salt beaches. But yet, YOU, never put a full week in on a salt beach.

I have been silent, but I am having great difficulty on my beach with the Deus 2 and my current black sand condition. Right Now

So much, that I have been silent until I can figure out how to get it to out preform the Equinox.
Which I have failed at so far. Exasperating, considering my experience.

You Tn, claim to be smart, but I for one think your time is best spent else where.

I could never make the trip to a beach and be as successful as a hunter that lives there. Their experience from massive hours of hunting and their ability to be be ready for any situation where nature provides a hunting window is crucial to success. Due to cost and time required the tourist will never compete with the locals. Watching what equipment they use is fascinating. Telling them what to use or pimping equipment on their forum is just hilarious and ignorance.

As Waterhead mentioned, a few beach hunters have an advanced gift nobody else around them has. Or will have. It's intimidating sometimes. Me and my friends are usually competing for second place against one friend. The winner never buys ice cream on the way home. And i can tell you i have to buy a lot of ice cream:lol:

Itsaring

Im coming down , I like bananna splits :icecream::icecream::icecream::icecream::icecream::icecream: PS Invite TNSS down , ill buy his ice cream  , Im still shaking my head , I thought this was an old thread , till I saw the date on the thread header :crazy::crazy::crazy::crazy: Still at it David :digginahole: RIP---D2

Naw,
I mentioned watching ID of the different Deus 2 programs.
Let’s see, what did you do?
Swamped all the forums with your seemingly full review of Deus 2 on beach you used for what. Part of a day. You didn’t even own one. And I think you had never ran an Xp product ever in the past.

Yeah. Laughable.
Pretend your a Deus 2 expert in a day’s time at the beach.

Garrett Axiom PI , just might put the nail in the coffin on the D2 , stay tuned , gold rings 2 foot + , might be the ticket along with ---- A quick demonstration of how this feature helps you audibly identify iron targets with the Axiom when using a DD search coil.

EXTREME BATTERY LIFE 16 hours

After info I just received concerning Deus 2 hunt in previously pounded site. No chance.

TNSS reply

Just goes to show everyone you have no clue on the difference in depth you get on a salt water beach from a pi vs a VLF , I also determined this on the Axiom thread , your comparing plums to canalopes , if the price is set around what the over priced D2 VLF IS , ill get one , hoping for a non solid dd coil , and better than the AQ in depth :dingding::hornetsnest::waytogo: PS tell your white coat buddy , take off his muck boots , get a Axiom test it at a salt water beach , no planting targets  , before I spend my money :shock:

Earl I have owned 2 pi detectors. GPX and ATX models. I am well aware of the depth advantages. The advantages though come with disadvantages too.
Weight, costs, discrimination of iron, etc.

I’ll be waiting for your 19” deep recovery of a fish hook. Lol. Without the fish attached.

Tnss

True , but the features on the detector sound like a plus in the wet at the beach using the dd coil , a D2 depth hype killer , when gold sinks deep bro . , looks like you will be posting d2 threads on dirt soon if it cuts the mustard with the dual balance auto track , dd coil with iron indicator , but dang still hits on bottle caps - just like your D2 :( Wonder what OBN has to say about this machine , maybe he will chime in , PI machine is superior in black sand & in depth at the beach , probaly 95% of your uses with a pi were in dirt :( , make a 800 mile - trip to the beach , find out
