It's awful rocky up there. Park point would be the only sandy beach I know of. The water temp on the big lake is currently at 44 degrees, so there isn't a lot of frolicking in the water.
Hunting along the lake shores can be interesting and productive if you look up old maps of the area and see who the people are that lived there in the early days of the state and prior to that. I lot of Indigenous tribes were living and hunting at one time. May be able to find some of the old copper artifacts from them, some of their tools.. Search the woods along the lakes.
