Pewter disks? Used for...?

I found what appears to be two pieces of pewter today. One looks like a utensil handle end. The other is a disk. I seem to dig lead and pewter disks from time to time and have no idea what they're used for! Ideas? This one doesn't appear to be a button...

I found the same thing today. It’s a little bigger than a half cent. I was thinking maybe a bad counterfeit?

The one I dug had me thinking it was an epic coin at first! Read high on the Nox 900. Thought maybe a hammered silver, but nope.

I recently found a pewter filled, silver bridle rosette.
This looks like it may be the inside of a similar rosette.

I've been on a rosette streak lately. I might just go with this theory, right or wrong! I'll do a little research and see if that may be what it is. Thanks for the lead!
