Hello,
Went back out to the old AFB this morning and had another good day.
Went back to the same spot where I found the silvers last weekend. Still some finds in that area.
Found a 44D merc that hit very low on the Manticore at a 71, but it was a little deep.
Nine wheats including one very flat one, and two military pins.
First pin is the standard US uniform pin.
The second was very interesting. It is a WW2 Army Air Force Advanced Flying School Unit pin.
This pin inscription is "UT VIRI VOLENT", It translates to "the men may fly". It apparently was very colorful and decorative when new.
HH!
