sounds good Epi.

everyone if you want to join or even if you think you might wanna join later we need to know as soon as possible. even if your on the fence go ahead and sign up you can back out later but we need to get an idea of how big this will be so in the other thread simply make a post saying "sign me up" and tinky will take care of that. once everyone is signed up Epi will collect the admission. why dont we go ahead and say the dead line will be Sunday July 20 that gives everyone 1 week to sign up then we will add another weeks wait for the entry fee or start when everyone has payed. so go ahead an post in the other thread "sign me up" or send a PM to Tinky or myself and we can get the ball rolling and worry about the rest later,we just need to know how many we will have before we make any big moves.
 
I will donate 10 back issues of assorted treasure magazines from the 80,s as a "prize." I dont really hunt much anymore, but will be interesting to follow the progress of those who do............................
 
I'm ready to enter when everything is set. I'd suggest we ask an Administrator to put the "Entry" post as a "Featured Post" at the top of the home page. That way we can all sign up within a predetermined time and "get it on"!!!!

I'm in...just let me know the details.

I will send them at the end of the month. Of course I will need to re-read the ones I send. I will try and pick the ones with the best features, tips, and whatnot. Can,t sell em. May as well donate a few to the cause......

I can't join- gonna be busy the next few months. But I'd like to support this contest by contributing a small cash prize. Perhaps if there's others like me, we can pool our cash and purchase 2 gift certificates from kellyco/tc metal detectors.
 
Since this earlier post was cast aside a little, I'll suggest it again. How about for those that participate, since they're paying the five dollars get the option for a supporter icon. Just an idea, how do y'all administrators, forum chipmunks, and Relichound like this idea?? HH

folks there are gonna be some added things to this contest that im sure each of you will enjoy,the time to enter will be extended and everyone who enters will have the chance to win something so lack of time to get out and detect will not keep you from having a chance to win a fantastic prize. bare with us as we get this going.Epi will have more on this later. thank you all for your patience.

Neat, I like that. Can't wait to get started! In a way, I don't want to go detect the older places so that I keep the old stuff there to find during the competition. :lol::lol::roll: HH
