OBN Bay Watch

Thanks Earl, Mike has seen them up North way past where I hunt. And he stayed away from several places this year since he was told by the fisherman there were two seen last year and several seen this year in one area. And this is the Northern part of the bay. There main diet are the skates.. I would recon that the water will get me before they do, It's filthy, dirty, stinky and highly polluted.

i here ya Joe

Keep your head above water to, in fresh water streams, i am sure you herd of the little girl, contracted that brain eating bacteria and died, i herd that flesh eating bacteria is around, Florida more so, but the way they are making mistakes leaking raw sewage into our bays, watch out, glad i am moving East, be careful bro. , ya better get a shark deterant device that works, Earl

Gives me the heebeejeebees just thinking about it. Bull sharks are most aggressive out there. Now. Up here. I haven't heard any sightings recently. But We do have plenty of seals. The foods there. There's got to be sharks. We are at least interesting to them. Bobbling in the water for one. Add to that and watch a few episodes of river monsters and that's that I'm not getting in there :laughing: -Joe

Joe.. not to highjack this highly informative thread of Earls... Yesterday Robert says to me if OBN was up here he would kill himself  for lack of gold finds this year... I cracked up when he said that ;)

Sharks huh? Well, we have some pretty aggressive bluegills up here in the inland lakes to contend with... I think bullsharks are more ascared of us than we are of them...I know this does not apply to all people or all sharks...Anyway, I seen a bullshark suck a guys calf muscle off his leg like a chicken drumstick on TV once! Horrible! Of course he was feeding them and thereby asking for it...
Mud

Fortunately the water is going to cool down over the next few weeks and the sharks will head back south...but they will still be by me for another 2 months.

Swing

Craig said yes, hes hunting Cap Cod, your hunting neck deep, he said hes going to bring 2 bags of chum to tie to your waist, his safty is the up most importance howboutit

If you want to feed the sharks come to FL. We got all varieties here. Spinners,
Black Tip, Bull, Hammer Head, even a great white cruises through occasionally. Shark bits are the evening news around here. That is unless you live in Orange county where the stabbings and shooting take front page.
