I found this while digging up some ferrous stuff near a really old stone foundation. It’s not magnetic or metallic. I thought it might be graphite but it’s not conductive. I thought maybe a sharpening stone but it’s not flat like most sharpening stones. Any opinions?

It look like a shaping stone my father had it was about 12”

It looks like a sharpening stone for a scythe. They were about 8" or 10" long with that same profile. We used them on the small one handed and on the big two handed scythes. I spent some really hot summers with one of those in my back pocket.
