Hunted the 2nd permission today provided by a contractor at a 1928 corner lot house. The only drawback was that 40% of the yard had been concreted over, or flagstoned. The front yard for the most part was all dirt except where the contractor bin was sitting, so we'll have to go back when the renovation is done.

We divided the lot in half between the front walkway and got to it. My first dig was the lead horse?, followed by the nice gold plated cufflink - the most ornate one I have ever found. Next was the toy watch stuck on 3 that has KAY?AY embossed on the back (cant make out the 4th letter), followed by the 1906 IHP. This was just in the 1st 15 feet! After that it was all clad until I got a 26-29 on the NOX and dug up the 1940D merc.

I REALLY try to be careful when digging, and get behind the pinpoints, so I must have kissed the merc with my digger before I could pick it up with the pinpointer. Bummer since its a good looking coin! :(

The 1936 buff was from a small street tear out from the night before thats near this home.

Thanks for looking, and HH!

That you watch is awesome, of course so are the IH, cufflink, buff and Merc! Got some good hints there, congrats!

Thanks GS. After looking at the lead "horse", Im more convinced it was molten lead that was spilled on the ground and made the odd horse shape.

Good show. Good pix. I never argue with merc dimes and vintage cufflinks .
