Hi all
I just signed up with this great forum. I have been reading post for about a month I guess. I got a Whites Prizm III last week and can use all the advise I can get. I live in western NC in the foothills. I have found a few dollars in change, no silver and a ring of little value. One thing for sure is its a good way to exercise, my legs are sore from all the squatting. Thanks Steve

HAHAHA! welcome to the forum and the hobby of sore legs and back. Glad to have ya with us here.

Welcome to the forum! If your legs are hurting you must be digging!I know when I first started,my shoulder felt like it was ripped from the socket due to all the swinging.Have fun with it,dig it.

Welcome to the forums. Hope to hear about your great finds soon!

Welcome aboard! You've got a good detector, just keep at it, read the manual over and over again, and keep digging. The good finds will come!!

Welcome Willys48!!. Gotta love those foot hills in NC. You can't find it if you are not out swinging it. Suppose to be in the 70s later this week and I will be out for sure.

Welcome in. I also have a Prizm III that I got just before Labor Day last year. Haven't been able to go too much, though, because the ground gets good and frozen here in northeastern IN.

I must look like the little boy in Christmas Story, with the snow suit on, who, when knocked down to the ground, can't get up! LOL! Except I'm not a boy...a grandma of 62 instead.

When it's cold out, I have on pants, two pairs of socks, Wellies (rubber barn boots known as Wellingtons), a turtleneck, sweatshirt, long sleeved hooded sweatshirt, jacket, knit hat, gloves, knee pads, belt with my black pouch that holds my pinpointer, long probe, sawtooth digging tool, extra batteries, denim jeans material to put my dirt on, and a plastic grocery bag to hold trash! Now that is a sight to behold! LOL!
