Hello everyone. Excited to be a part of this forum-- looking at your finds is exciting! Im 22 years old and hunting in Ohio.
Found an old MD in my garage a few days ago... a bounty hunter gold digger. Spend about 2 hours digging up nails, but the thrill of the dig sucked me in!
I collect coins, and recently got back into the habit after deciding to invest in some silver coins. I went to Bass Pro and picked up a Teknetics Delta 4000, and I have finally gotten the hang of it.
My mom lives on an old homestead in NW Ohio, so naturally I started there. My very first dig I found an awesome WW1 collar insignia, from the Motor Transportation unit. Have no idea how it came to reside here.
Next day I head into the field across from my house. It is a city run park with a small hill and I found a Merc dime up on top of the hill. I was so happy to find my first little silver piece
I look forward to sharing with all of you :)
