My Race to 100 FTY. I would have never believed! I DID IT!!

I am waltzing right pass 100 with the help of the new place I found! 5 more silver found takes me up to #105. We hunted the field at the new place till it was silent! There wasn’t much trash there at all. Too bad the weekend it drops to 29 degrees for highs and teens at night. No more balmy 39 degree days for a while, haha. I’ll keep hunting till the ground is solid, lol.

Excellent second hunt! All the “junk” signals were old, so we dug them all. I was able to get over 5 more silvers, a Buffalo, and an Indian and lots of wheats. My buddy got over 2 silvers, 2 V’s, 3 Buffalos, and 1 Indian. It was a fun hunt!

My best unexpected finds for the day were 2 10k gold class rings! The smaller one rang up as a pop tab. The bigger one rang up like a ring pull. The other surprise were the civil war buttons we each found! Crazy find for up here. Some kid must have had them and lost them! Also a real cool pad lock the was in the hole with a horse’s tooth! Haha.

That’s just craziness, I saw this before. That is the THIRD Walker I have seen pulled with the D2 in 2 days, one a friend got. It is INSANE what this machine is finding, regardless of all other “maybes or other things”. A picture with massive results says everything I need to know. Very nice LL!

My 5th silver half for the year! The halves were from getting lucky to be over the right spot for sure.
My biggest thing with this detector is opening the plug and pulling 3 or 4 big nails from the plug, then pulling a coin out too. That's the best. Haha!

Number 100??? I think so!

On my journey I found an old school that has been torn down and is being turned into a park. It was all fill. The grassy area I had already detected last year. I never found much of anything there in the past. I tried it again and didn’t get any good signals. I went over and tried an area they were driving over and knocked the grass down. I found a bird tag, then I find the odd thing. Rang up like a quarter/dime. I couldn’t tell what it was so I threw it in my pouch.
I got it home and washed it. Still couldn’t figure it out. Then I seen the reeded edge! I weighed a Mercury dime, and weighed
This thing and they weighed the same! It must be a silver dime that was in a fire at some point!
What do you think?

I found a melted silver GW that still showed some reeded edge and a little of the lettering after i tumbled it. Bet you are right
