My dad thinks it is a cocaine snuffer ring..

So I dug this up about a foot deep at the local park. What do you think it is??

Just as suspected there is no hallmark so it doesn't seem to be jewelry. The bottom has two little legs.

What you have there appears to be an ink well if I am seeing the scale right. and it would not be a cocaine box, but rather a "snuff box". You need to see if there are any markings on the bottom or in the well. If it was an ink well the wel part slides out. That may be missing. Some more pics would be great, close ups of marks or of the insde.

The bottom is solid. There is a small hole at the top center but it doesnt go all the way through. There are no evident markings anywhere.

what are the measurements or just take a penny and take a pic next to each other for scale, mabe it kept medication or mabe make up? i would take a pic of the bottom if its solid on the bottom that would mean that what ever it contained was kept in the thing its self in instead of it being a top to a glass jar or somthing, mabe old chaped stick jar interesting find though.
