Minelab - Is there a new detector being released soon???

Last Codan/Minelab investor report which was released earlier this year stated significant progress on I believe 5 new products. On the 18th of this month is the next investor report which may or may not give more hints. I would expect something like others have said at fall Detectival 2022 if it's going to be announced this year.

The investor report released today said they expect sales growth due to new product releases the second half of 2023. FY23 started July 1st so I am speculating an announcement at Detectival, and to start shipping within the first 3 months of 2023.

I read the whole report and it did reference a release for the coin/treasure market, leveraging their great results with the nox(I think).

Smooth thanks for the update. Will be interesting to see what Minelab has come up with. The downside is everytime a new machine comes out it stirs up controversy and bickering. I remember all the naysayers when the Equinox came out. Many of them use the Equinox now. Same thing with the Deus ll and the Legend. People just love to !!!!!. I ordered my 800 a week after Detecteval and got it the last week of Feb. 18. Still use it. Almost pulled the trigger on a D2 and the Legend but just not seeing any thing that will out do my 800. A couple companies took Multi-freq and added their own bells and whistles and called it their own. IMO they just put a new dress on an old !!!!! and hyped it up. Minelab needs to have something really good, not just a rebrand like Garrett did with the At Pro to the At Max. I guess we'll see next month. By the way, in your signature I see Etrac, great machine. The only reason I gave it up was weight. I was down to 3 or less hours on a hunt. And speaking of, maybe a multi-freq with co-fe Id. Huh ? Mark

It sure is strange to me how much people argue about which detector they personally think is best. Then they get really upset when anything less than 100% of people agree with them. I mean, people do realize you can swing multiple detectors and it is not necessary to pick a team and go all in on it right?

I am also tired of people claiming to do unbiased reviews while they simultaneously engage in personal drama with detector companies. It's honestly pretty embarrassing to watch unfold.

Nobody is unbiased. It's an impossible state for a human to occupy. I don't trust anybody who says they are unbiased, rather I trust the person who honestly reveals their biases.

Any gold ring found in a site up here is accident. I found it nonetheless. Come on up. And try. Far different than a salt beach. I’ll even video you in action.

I absolutely love my Etrac but I have some wrist and elbow issues now. That thing needs to be about two pounds lighter
