Me And Santa 1950

This is me and Santa Claus in 1950. i was four years old. This Santa has to be one of the scariest looking ones I've ever seen.

He looks more like Gandalf from lord of the rings! You look happy, and terrified all at once Thanks for sharing Ed, and Merry Christmas to you and Sue!

Now that is classic! Only place I ever saw Santa at that age was in the annual Christmas parade every December in downtown Hot Springs, Arkansas! You do look like you are thinking of having a runaway! LOL

I knew he wasn't the "real" Santa Claus because as I was sitting on his lap, I could see some thin copper wire holding his beard together.

That " very handsome little boy" is ME asking Santa for a metal detector for Christmas. Then he said something like "Get this brat off my lap!"

I saw the BB 250 and thought, "You'll shoot your eye out kid!"

I never thought someone could look terrified and happy at the same, but here we are!

That’s a great photo, spiffy young man and a cool looking Santa! The good old days - I was a negative 22 years old when that pic was taken. Don’t think I have a pic of Santa when I was 4. I do have one of my kids when they were each 4 in turn. Now they’ll soon be 16 amd 14

Time flies as they say.......in this picture I was a four year old kid and now I have a four year old GREAT GRANDSON

Wow , Santa has really changed over the yrs.
Compared to now adays , it looks like they didn't even try back then
