Metal Detecting in the Southern Maryland/ DC Area

I Just moved here and looking for some decent wooded/Beach areas to MD in. I am located in Waldorf... I went to Ocean City today and just picked some loose change. I have a Excalibur II and was actually looking for a good spot to Shore Dive from..... Apparently there is no shore diving areas that are decent.... Now I just looking to Metal Detect on dry ground...... Anyone interested in buddying up?...or know any good areas?

Hi ,My name is Ken. I live in Decatur, in. Right now I am in the Philippines with my wife. We live here in the winter. ( I dont like the cold.) We get back home the end of March 2013. I use Tesoro Tiger Shark in the water, Tesoro Vaquero & Fisher 1266x, Minelab Safare. I have a new Whites water MD that I just dont like. I got it last summer. I will try to sell it when I get back home from the Philippines this next spring.
