Manticore test videos

This is the perfect time for the mods and owners to implement a new forum rule regarding videos. Allow only 1 video related post on any subject per week , per 1 member. And only 1 link. Not a comment or post showing 8 video links. No member self promoting , pushing numerous video links on a daily basis. In some cases 10 in 1 day. This will promote more discussion amongst members without a bunch of animosity. All these crazy tests can be compressed into a 15 minute video , once a week. If a member can't abide after 1 warning , they are immediately and permanently banned. I fear that initial really good , informative Manticore videos will quickly fall into the same abuse as the Nox , D2 and Legend videos. The ridiculousness must come to an end. Now is the time to implement new rules when this machine is released shortly. Any thoughts ?

We need videos to show the weaknesses of these new detectors. For example I’ve already heard the new Manticore can’t separate a silver quarter wrapped in 8 layers of aluminum foil, while stuck inside a large ball of steel wool, while laying under a 1/4 inch steel plate buried under 12 lbs of loose nails. The value of all these videos is really in this type scenario that no one else thinks to test.

Yes I too agree the overly done synopsis of one individuals opinion always plastered at the top of the forum thread is taking away what this forum is about.....discussion of real world use out in the field on naturally dropped relics from years gone by.

Was thinking about requesting some tests under an '87 Buick aluminum rim with a steel belted tire. But some people don't like Buicks!

Links need to be posted in the main post only. Not a "feed my youtube channel" daily link drop at the end of threads forever. When you got 187,000 links nobody will look at all that stuff anyways.

Seems like there are a few people here who always are stirring things up that should be banned. But I'll leave that up to the mods. Sure doesn't seem like a very friendly forum any more. People have one common trait with detectors. People and detectors both have the ability to notch out what you don't want to hear. Yet it appears notch is at zero if you know what I mean.

I hate to say it. But i am guessing soon the couple who declares the newest detector the best ever will start all over again. The Legend is going to be picked apart against a Minelab Manti now to mess with Nokta Makro and the Deus ll will be moved into the junk section just like the Nox was done. My Nox still works just fine by the way.

Ok Chillbilly. Here you go....In no way do I feel smarter than these mods. Not with their detecting or life in general. But I do feel I'm trying to look at things from a different perspective and approach. Some of it may work , some may not. I may have more common sense and street smarts than some. But I am not smarter than many others on this forum. I do make mistakes. But more importantly , what I do have more than many others here is the ability to own it and admit when I'm wrong. There are plenty others here that agree with this new rule proposal.

The shills we know, don't ever compare the D2 and Nox to a Simplex, an Apex, or even a Radio Shack Micronta lol.

In other words, the Legend has become their standard to bash, because it's a serious threat to their agenda and $hilness. When there is a detector that has arguably the best build quality and reliability, and can match, and sometimes exceed the shills "flavor of the month" detector, then of course the shill will do everything possible to bash that detector. Especially when that detector's initial cost, and cost of ownership, is a mere fraction of the shill's detector.

We don't ban members for their opinions... I happen to agree with limits on number of video's that are posted....
