With Covid-19 today.
Thursdays are Royal Mexican Train Domino Game day! Regular as clockwork.
We meet at our church, all wearing masks. Today, KT arrived early. One other player on the Royal Table arrived soon after. Then our regular couple who both play arrived. She entered our room, but did not set down immediately. Her husband was in the Great Hall and talking on his cell phone. His Majesty asked, is your husband here, and she said, yes, but he is on his cell phone, through her mask. Suddenly her cell rang and she picked it up, listening, she said to me, we have to go. Jack's chief...he is a policeman...called and the other officer he rode with all this week tested positive for Covid-19. So she left, then couple of other players arrived, and we played, again all wearing masks. Finally arrived home and pastor sent an email to me, stating that Jack tested + and asking if he came in the room. So KT replied, no, he did not and His wife did not even sit down, she left within 5 minutes of arriving to go get tested with him...he has it, she does not
. They are both elderly, in their 70s, like KT at 71. How lucky can you get! Just missed exposure by 1 doorway! And his concern for all in the room.
Whew! This was a close call...sure ready to get either of the vaccines as soon as they are made available to the Royal Family!
