This is not a recent find, it was dug several years ago, but I have not been able to identify it. It was dug at an old rural Northwest Louisiana home place. It is about the size and weight of a silver dollar, and is gold or dark bronze in color. Any ideas? Thanks...

To me it looks like a charm or makeshift religious medal, being in Louisiana, I think you'd have a considerable amount of diverse religious cultures, from Haiti to the rest of the Islands. It also could of been a sailors, I can't figure out if the backround images are mountains or pyramids, just a thought. smg

IUt looks like something recent and amateur to me. A well made disc with shocking basic badly done amateur art doenst add up of it was old. Egyptian theme, pyramids, sphynx like head. Could have been made by a kid when king tut was found etc.
