Hey folks. Just a quick introduction. John, South Shore, Taxachusetts where I'm very proud we are the toughest state to get a LTC in AND they have a lot more coming. Yep!! That will reduce to firearms violence by up to 1%. Im sorry but I've got a big problem keepings things short.
Well anyway ive detected since 1980/1981 with a White's 4500 I think it was. Geez i swear that the pickings were like a dream.
Well anyway a couple of days ago i found an old bottle dump. How old IDK. I just poked around for a few minutes and it looked untouched. I really don't even know how extensive it is or isn't.
I believe I'm going to pass it on to someone although I may tag along. How do i find a good person to share this with. Im going to attach a couple pics if i can.
Well enjoy your day and this looks like good place to hang out. TY

Welcome to the forum from the Central part of the state! Definitely appears to be a bottle dump, though the bottles don't look to be extremely old (definitely post 1900). Good news is, they sometimes used these locations for decades, so usually the deeper you dig the older the glass gets. Happy hunting out there!

I don't believe I've found the core of the dump by a long stretch. We have some seriously old houses that are still standing and some of them are quite close to where the dump is. I'm sorry for putting stuff on the main forum
I will definitely check out " Mass treasures" website. Thanks.

Cool, I like old bottles, just not enough to did out old dumps,:yes::bouncy: but appreciate those who still can dig , my bro-in-law digs old outhouse holes, and has scored many I.H.
