I try not to post the same finds in any of the 3 froums I am a member of, but I made an exception for this. Sorry if you have already see this.

Found Sunday, My first Walking Liberty Half Dollar. I found it looking for gold, you can tell by the trash I dug. The sound it gave was similar to a large gold ring.

I uncovered it at 7?, it was under 1 ½ pull tabs.

The first thing to come out of the hole at 4? was a beavertail without the finger ring part. Then at 5? a complete pull tap came out. I check the hole again and it was still screaming. After digging about 2 more inches the old lady showed herself, I was jazzed to say the least.

I found a few other cool things yesterday but I'm too tired to post them right now. I?ve got to be up bright and early, 5:00AM. The blue dot on the picture is where I found the WLH and the blue box shows the pull tabs that came from the same hole. Hopefully the scuff marks will come off when I clean it up, that ground is very hard to dig in at this time of year.

The irregular heptagon (I think that?s what it?s called) coin is a 20 pesos coin from Mexico. I already have one of those worthless obsolete coins, they are cool looking though.

It just goes to show how being persistent pays off. The last Walker I found was with an unfired shotgun shell head and gave a very iffy signal. Congrats on the great find Ant.
