I find alot of clad

That is a lot of clad. NIce on the Rosies and Ken. $116 is nice too of course.

I've found $12 so far this year
You would think finding 322 quarters One would have been silver I think 7-8 were 1965 and several 1966-67 . And that's just in the last month. Probably been well over 500 quarters from this place.

That's a very high quarter ratio compared to the pennies and nickels.

Nickels are always lower for me . I skip over pennies alot of the time when I get tired of digging them.
Nice haul for MagicmanTX...

I still dig the good copper penny signals, 42-47 on the legend. I do that mostly because the good common copper penny signal is the same signal as a dime, 45, 46. It's a 50/50 shot that you get a penny or dime.

I think so far, I have only dug right at $9. That's 14 quartes, a bunch of dimes, about ten nickels and just over 50 keeper pennies. I'm certain of the pennies because I just cleaned and rolled them. woot.... .50¢.

I kept 5 more I can slip In somewhere paying for something. I've probably threw away 15 so far. Zink pennies and North Carolina red piedmont dirt don't mix well.

Oh, forgot about the one silver war nickel and a handful of wheats.

Still digging and praying.

I hunt a school yard that yielded more quarters than pennies. Most of them newer. I'm thinking that the parents would give their kids a quarter to pay for milk and other goodies. Was it a school yard?

No this is a Boy Scout camp that was built in 1963 and opened in 1964. The People who run the camp who gave me permission said it has never been detected before. they normally don't let people in there in the off season but since I was a Boy Scout and actually a camp counselor at a different camp in the early 70's they allow me to roam the place freely. It's a very remote place about 20 miles from the nearest town down a long gravel road out in the middle of nowhere.

Love your finds and especially the story and the location you get to hunt in. Hope you find more cool stuff. I love clad too lol. My total so far this year is about 80 bucks.

My back doesnt get sore, but damn the skin on my kneecaps takes a beating lol.

Did you participate in the 2023 Clad Totals thread?

Continue keeping track this year and will probably be one of the highest contributors when we do at the end of 2024.
