Hello from Virginia!

[Dizzy in VA]

Just a quick intro. I live in Virginia near the coast. Not many places to go MDing here but my own backyard has proven to be quite a minefield of metal! Wow. Anyone else live in VA that has any ideas besides beaches? I'm a noob at this but love doing it even if I don't find anything. I'm using a VERY basic detector. Bought it for my kid for his birthday last year but I've been using it way more myself! I may upgrade to a better one eventually as I thoroughly enjoy the thrill of the hunt.

I'm right on the coast in Virginia, we have 35 miles of beaches that I don't hunt very often (I'm planning to get a Nox 800 or Anfibio Multi in the near furture for the beaches).

I know of some parks and schools that were once old home sites if you want to get together and hunt some time. I'm always searching the old maps for good spots to hit. Permissions are hard to get here unfortunately...
