Grading old dug coins

I’ve been collecting coins since I was young. But most are fairly modern. I understand how to grade coins. Old coins I’m not accustom to. I recently got lucky and found a seated quarter. It was dropped in good condition, but it’s been in a field getting plowed and disked for a long time. So it’s got small nicks and blemishes. What grade would this quarter get?

Probably VF before the environmental damage...but definitely a stellar dig!

IMHO, I think it would be closer to XF for details, but definitely would have scratches and environmental damage noted- very nice find regardless!
