Fun

This has become addictive, Not sure what I'll do when I've cleaned all the launches out. I don't want to NOT miss pennies so I think I'll just leave the full signal on. I'd like to see if I can eliminate pull tabs tho.

So I got out before Turkey time and the sky dried up some. Hit another launch but it's wet so I'll come back after rain ends for a few days.

Went by a church I got the OK to look around on. Found my first wheat penny and some others.

I think the wheat came from the boat launch. Now, HTH can these clean up better ?

Knocked out some Geo Caches today. Last one was at a boat launch, haha. Found the missing Cache to boot. I live for boat launches.

If you ever wanna get on some silver or older spots let me know. My buddy and I hunt weekly. We have hit arlington and stanwood a few times. Found my first barber quarter there. That area has potential

Hip works great, had to get out. Met a buddy, seems this place has been detected at some point. Still, we scooped some up.

Congrats on the new hip and nice finds. Is the ground defrosted in your area? Mine still requires a pick axe to dig anything out.

Thank you for sharing the pretty scenery! I love that metal detecting provides us with unique opportunities to admire God's creation. In your photo, I especially like the glassy reflection of the evergreens.

Rain is back ground softening up. Can't add pic off phone. Oldest 1962 penny

Now that the turf is softening, hope you enjoy being able to detect again! In my area, the ground is beginning to freeze, so another season is coming to a close. :snowflake:
