Beautiful day here in the PNW! RainorShine and I got out for our first hunt in about 2+ weeks. What a great series of recoveries! I'll let RoS tell his tale but he started the party by having Ms. Lady Walker show up in a curbstrip! A beautiful woman for sure, after feeling a little jealous that I didn't get invited to the "party", about 10 minutes later on my curbstrip, I got MY invite for Mr. Ben Franklin (born: 1951 in San Francisco).

Heck of a start of a party barely 35 minutes into our hunt! The remainder of the day was a series of permissions and curb strip hunting until I was able to break the silver drought and pull a 1947D Washington. I was excited to recover 2 silvers today plus a couple of wheaties....nothing in the permissions, all on curbstrips is where we had our "party".

HH and GL all!!!

What a great day we had Paul. Amazing how we started with a half each. Hopefully we'll have more of the same luck next time out.

Outstanding hunt!!! Big Ben seems to be my white whale. I've found some incredible coins, older than the Ben half but for some reason that one is one I absolutely can not dig up lol. One day. Congrats on your awesome hunt!

Whoah!!! Nice way to Tag Team those silver halves! Beautiful coins found in an area that was previously heavily detected, excellent!

Thank GT, I don't find them often (maybe my third over the last 8 years), but it was a surprise for me...so was the GW. You have to wonder why they were overlooked.

Yup, Gale and I have had a couple of great dual find type hunts. Gale wants to go back to that spot but I am kinda torn...for me there wasn't much else. Only 2 wheats and those 2 silvers...good odds but taxing on a 6 hour hunt 🤔

Do you hit the curbstrips in front of people's houses?? I've been ran off more than once doing that lol. I tend to find some amazing stuff in them tho when I do get the chance to hunt them.

It is usually a mix of curbs and permissions. The 2 halves were found in curbs bordering homes, not directly in front.
