When researching keep in mind that sometimes they titled a place a fort that had very little evidence of structure - while they might put a title of camp on a very formal fort structure. I have detected both - one had just brush coverings and a couple amall adobe structures - while the 'camp' had the standard square arrangement, mess hall, officer's quarters, etc. steve in so az

From the land of the Bluenose.....sometimes just the hole in the ground is all that is left of a fort. Going with Scott Miester tomorrow at just a place. Last time there found my first yank flowing bust.
