First Silver !!!!

Finally after a year of hunting I got my first silver. I went out to hit the tot lot at my kids school for a hour before dinner. I never really do too good there. The school was built in 1929 so I guess it has some old stuff but I have never found anything.

The other day we finally had a good rain and I went to try a gravel side road that leads to another play area and I got a good hit in a washed out gully part of the road. After moving a very small amount of gravel out pops the 1951 Quarter!!!!

wow I was so excited I kept on searching another 45 mins. and was late for dinner!!!!!

I am using an older Whites 6000 DL given to me by a friend. I keep thinking i'm not using it correctly but maybe theres just a big learning curve. Thanks for all the good words on the find....
