coming to you live from a park/community pool which was built right around the last year of silver coin production and I finally found my first 1941 mercury dime about 2 inches down due to grass growing on top of old stone parking lot

edges of lots are loaded in the snow states. Trucks push the white stuff to the edges and there's the rub.
Amen to that brother. I've done pretty good on the coins and the occasional piece of junk jewelry. I don't do it anymore. Lots of poor folks pushing shopping carts with their world in that cart. I see them out and about as the spring melt happens checking out the parking lot white mountains.
