Nothing exciting yesterday, but just about anything beats modern coins. 🙂

Is the Buffalo nickel a replica or did somebody chrome or nickel plate a real nickel? It has a very worn 1920 date.

Also, do you think the ring looks like the Raisin Bran logo? It’s obviously just a kids ring, but it took me awhile to remember where I had seen a sun wearing sunglasses logo before.

I've dug a few buffs like that ..I would say it's a real one ..they can look quite odd sometimes

I would agree with goldendreams about the buffalo, looks pretty real to me. I've found a couple, and both of them are pretty odd when compared to pretty much every other coin I've ever found.

It’s just strange to me that it’s shiny like chrome or nickel plating. It’s also strange that it’s non-magnetic, but it’s rusting around the edges where it looks like the shiny surface layer is coming off. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I dug this one a few months ago and this is what I’m used to seeing.
