These were in a gravel parking lot, marked "Fe .25" and sure enough they stick to a magnet and four of them weigh an ounce on the postal scale. Any idea on what they were for? All I can guess is they were inside a weighted wrist or ankle band that decayed away and left the pile, but the stamping seems unnecessary for something like that.
